  Fire Department - Fire Prevention
 
 

 

The La Habra Heights Fire Department is actively involved in Fire Prevention and Community Enhancement within the City.  The Fire Prevention Bureau staffs two persons; the Fire Marshal and a Fire Inspector, who conduct plans review, inspect buildings, and assist fire companies with their inspections.

The Fire Marshal coordinates closely with the City's Building and Planning Department as well as allied agencies such as the State Fire Marshal's Office, Animal Control, and Fish and Games.

The Fire Marshal also conducts plans review for all new and remodeled construction in the City.  All shifts also conduct routine fire code inspections and issue notices to correct fire hazards.
